Chorus General Info

The Choir is currently open to students in grades 2-5. If you have an older student interested in singing, please fill out our inquiry form. We will add additional rehearsal times for older students as demand increases! Our future plans include creating ensembles for ALL AGES, including adults!

Mission Statement: Royal Arts Children's Choir aims to create a safe environment where children can be inspired and grow in their passion for music, develop their singing skills, and be exposed to diverse music styles and cultures.​
​
Repertoire: RACC aims to expose students to music of diverse backgrounds and cultures, genres and styles. We will perform a variety of music from traditional "classical" choral music to popular songs, as well as music in other languages.
​
Rehearsals: Will be held weekly, beginning August 21, 2023, on Mondays at 5:30PM-6:30PM at the Sahara West Library and Rainbow Library (September 25-October 16).
​
Auditions: RACC is a pre-professional choir for children. A video submission is requested to pre-determine placement and inform repertoire selection. Spots are limited. Click here for more information about audition submission.

Cost: $300 per semester + $50 registration fee. After enrollment has been confirmed (following video audition), the registration fee will be due promptly to secure your spot. Tuition will be due by August 7, 2023.
A limited number of scholarships will be available for families who demonstrate need. Please inquire after submitting the registration form.

Performances: The choir will perform at least one concert at the end of the session. Other performance opportunities may arise after the session begins, and parents will be given advance notice of such events. Community exposure and engagement is a high priority of Royal Arts Children's Choir.
​
Concert Attire: The Royal Arts shirt (included in registration fee) and black pants. Leggings are not acceptable. Black socks and shoes.

Meet the Directors
Chrissy Miller + Rachel Petrasova
Chrissy Miller, a Louisiana native and new Las Vegas transplant has several years of experience as an award-winning school choir director, honor choir clinician, church music director and professional vocalist.
​
Rachel Petrasova is a UK-born and Royal Academy trained musician who brings excellence to everything she does. She is an accomplished concert pianist, professional vocalist and experienced choir director.
As long-time best friends who met in college, the New Orleans-meets-London duo have reunited in Las Vegas to offer a wealth of experience and diversity as they share their passion for music with the world.
